Terms & Conditions

Terms and Conditions for Joshua Stanmore's Freelance Magician Services:

1. Booking Confirmation:

• Booking confirmation is subject to the receipt of a non-refundable deposit, which will be agreed upon at the time of booking. The deposit secures the date and time of the event.

2. Performance Details:

• The Client agrees to provide accurate event details, including date, time, and venue address. Any changes to these details must be communicated and agreed upon in advance.

​

3. Performance Duration:

• The agreed performance duration will be outlined in the booking agreement. Overtime may be accommodated if discussed in advance and is subject to an additional fee.

​

4. Payment:

• The remaining balance is due in full on the day of the performance, prior to the magician's commencement. Payments can be made in cash or via an agreed-upon electronic method.

​

5. Cancellations:

• In the event of cancellation by the Client, the deposit is non-refundable. Cancellations within 14 days of the event may be subject to the full fee unless otherwise agreed upon by both parties.

​

6. Magician's Obligations:

• The Magician agrees to perform the services in a professional manner and to the best of their ability, ensuring a high standard of entertainment.

​

7. Venue Requirements:

• The Client is responsible for ensuring the magician has suitable performance conditions, including sufficient lighting and a safe performance area. Any restrictions or requirements must be communicated in advance.

​

8. Travel Expenses:

• Travel expenses may apply for events located outside a specified radius. These will be agreed upon at the time of booking and detailed in the booking agreement.

​

9. Magic Assistant/Content Capturer:

• The Client agrees to allow the Magician's designated Magic Assistant/Content Capturer at the event to assist with the performance and capture promotional content.

• If the designated assistant is unavailable, the Magician reserves the right to appoint an alternative assistant without compromising the quality and scope of services.

10. Photography and Promotion:

• The Client agrees that the Magician may use photographs or video footage from the event for promotional purposes, unless otherwise specified in writing.

​

11. Force Majeure:

• Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performing their obligations under the agreement if such failure or delay is due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, or natural disasters.

​

12. Termination:

• Either party may terminate the agreement in writing if the other party breaches any material term of the agreement, and such breach remains uncured for a period of 14 days after written notice of the breach.

​

13. Governing Law:

• These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

​

By booking the magician's services, the Client acknowledges and agrees to these terms and conditions.
